In 2023 Capital.bg turned 30 years of delivering. We were tasked to create and execute a concept for exhibition to represent the bumpy but significant road of the media thought out the years. In turned out it also reflects the history of the delicate democracy in the country.

Concept
The exhibition traces the important events of the last 30 years through the lens of the media, reflecting the development of democracy in Bulgaria since 1993 to the present. That's why in the design, we have focused on mirror surfaces as a metaphor for this process. The presented 30 key covers of the newspaper Capital are accompanied by interesting analyses and stories that add a personal nuance to the selected stories.
Often things are not as they seem at first glance, which is why we presented a large part of the materials on two levels - the cover of the respective publication and a reflection of a frame providing additional context to the event.
