Rather than relying on the familiar visual codes of luxury wineries, Villa Daros is built around a simple belief: every bottle is an act of giving. Inspired by that idea, the identity transforms the grape seed into a universal symbol of care, creating a contemporary brand where craftsmanship, nature, and emotion become inseparable.

The premium wine market is often defined by heritage symbols, ornate crests, and visual traditions that can feel interchangeable. Villa Daros needed an identity capable of expressing craftsmanship and quality while creating a more personal emotional connection—one that reflected the generosity of sharing wine rather than simply its prestige.

As a new brand, the objective was to create a complete identity system that could grow across every customer touchpoint, from labels and packaging to environmental branding, while establishing a distinctive presence within the premium wine category.

approach

The identity is built around the idea that every grape begins as a seed, and every shared bottle begins with an act of giving. This philosophy became the foundation for both the visual language and the brand story.

The logo combines the letter V with a heart that simultaneously references the shape of a grape seed, reinforcing the brand's central narrative. Across the Reserve collection, this idea expands into a series of finely embossed illustrations inspired by the flora and fauna of the Struma Valley, celebrating the landscape that gives the wines their character. Rather than serving as decoration, every element contributes to a cohesive visual system that balances refinement, symbolism, and authenticity.

Everyting starts with a single seed. That simple observation became the foundation of the entire identity. The grape seed transforms into a heart—a symbol of generosity, care, and the experience of sharing wine with others. From there, every visual decision grows organically from the same idea, creating a brand where symbolism is never decorative but intrinsic to the story.

outcome

The result is a comprehensive identity system spanning labels, packaging, shipping boxes, closures, barrels, photography, and environmental applications. Every element reinforces the same narrative while allowing different wine collections to develop their own distinct expressions.

By combining restrained luxury with a deeply human story, Villa Daros creates a contemporary premium wine brand rooted as much in emotion and place as it is in craftsmanship—designed to evolve alongside the winery for years to come.
